Movie Night Salted Caramel Popcorn Espresso Martini
Roll out the red carpet for Jarrod’s Salted Caramel Popcorn Espresso Martini, the ultimate sidekick for your next movie night marathon. It’s creamy, salty and sweet with just the right amount of decadence. Most importantly, it’s quick and easy to whip up at home during the opening credits.
“The beautiful thing about this cocktail recipe is that it only takes a couple of ingredients, so it won’t take long to make at all,” Jarrod the @diycocktailguy advises. Bailey’s Irish Cream gives it a smooth velvety consistency, the fresh espresso brings the buzz and the saltiness comes from the popcorn syrup and caramel sauce.
So, get settled on the couch for a rainy weekend movie marathon or a Friday date night while we bring the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to your martini glass. Lights, camera, shake!
Ingredients:
(Serves 2)
60mL of Vodka O
120mL of Bailey’s Irish Cream
30mL of fresh espresso
30mL of Monin Popcorn Syrup
A dash of salted caramel sauce
Caramel popcorn, to garnish
Method:
- Add plenty of ice to your cocktail shaker.
- Pop in 60mL of your Vodka O. This recipe serves 2, so remember to multiply ingredients if the whole gang is joining you for your movie night.
- Next, add 120mL of Bailey’s Irish Cream and 30mL of fresh espresso. The caffeine hit will stop everyone from dozing off during the movie!
- Add a dash of salted caramel sauce and 30mL of Monin Popcorn Syrup.”It smells exactly like popcorn — it’s weird but delicious,” Jarrod says.
- Give your cocktail a shake and add a caramel swirl to your martini glass. Pour the mixture into your glass and garnish with caramel popcorn to finish.
